Would you like to Volunteer? 

You do not have to be an expert! Share your passion of mushrooms and increase your knowledge of the fungi world as you work with our mycologist and educators.

Join us for 2 hours or more. Again, you don't have to be a mushroom expert to help. Its fun and a great way to become more familiar with our local mushrooms! 

Saturday, August 29: Collection, sorting and labeling mushrooms. You do not need to be an expert! Learn from the best as you help set up our grand display of local fungi and helping experts voucher fungi for the UAF Museum of the North collection.

On Sunday, August 30, we could use help with setting up tables (9-11 am), directing traffic, assisting at the children crafts station (11 - 4 pm), sorting mushrooms, and helping experts tag fungi for the UAF collection. Share your passion of mushrooms and increase your knowledge of the fungi world
